ARCHIE AND BLOSSOMS NEW SAFE PLACE

Archie and Blossom do go with me to most places, but there are times
that I need to leave them.  They do have a doggie playpen but this Blossom
has already jumped out of. So not safe to leave her alone.

So I found this crate on Ebay which has a metal divider.
So Archie and Blossom can be togeather but have their own space to sleep.
I also got two water bowls that clip on the side.

It just fitted in the snug room with the edge on the step so I propped it up on bricks to
even it off. And it seems to work. Will get hubby when he has time to build a stand
which will look much better.

They have their snuggle sacks to cosy into and I have put a blanket on top.

I have only used it few times but they have already taken to it. And just have a nap.

As you can see Archie and Blossom are wearing jumpers indoors now as the
weather has turned so cold.

Keep warm and cosy   Rosezeeta x

  1. It looks as though they have both found a good place to snuggle and be safe when you are not around! xx

    1. It is making my life a little less streesful now.Amy. Knowing they are safe and happy while I do food shopping etc.
I love taking them most places with me as they are so well behaved and so tiny.

    1. Thank you Lyn. I now knit all their jumpers. Saving myself a lot of money. But I must admit I have bought them Xmas ones.

  3. We had a very similar spot in our home for our last puppy. And she loved her crate. Sometime she would even go in there and lay down when we were all at home. I think it was a safe place for her, away from the children. Archie and Blossom are so cute. It's nice you can take them places.

    1. Hi Betsy my Bertie and Charlie are also crate trained and see their crates as their safe place. Archie and Blossom have been out shopping with me today but it takes longer because people always stop me to say hi to them. But they love it.

  4. Every time I see pictures of Archie & Blossom I am reminded of a friend who had 6 dogs 5 like your 2 and a German Shepherd. The GS was definitely bottom in the pecking order but when I visited always snuck up on my knee for a cuddle. I was probably the only person daft enough to allow this.

    1. Yes this crate works well for them because I think they would not like to be alone. Yes the jumpers I knit. Touch of blue for Archie, pink for Blossom.

    3. Julie How lovely to collect these mags. I sometimes pick up a vintage pattern from a car boot fair or charity shop, but they are hard to find. I will take a look now, thank you.
