UP CYCLED CHAIRS. AND BARGAIN CABINET.

I have been doing more up cycling!

Two old pine chairs which were given to me.

One I painted yellow, the other pink.

It was too cold outside so I did this one on my counter top.
Naughty but I did give it a really good clean before I made tea.

I always paint the underside, I do not like to see bare wood .

Finished at last.now only the waxing to do.

And this is the other chair which I did first.

This is in my workshop. As you can see I am having a sort out.

Can you see my cabinet behind the pink chair. I won this on Ebay for 99p.
I had to collect it which was local to me. And I gave them a £1.00 as I could
not bear to count out 99p.....It was my lucky day!
I am going to up cycle this and then sell on. If I do not fall in love with it.
I will show you how I get on, and what I do to it.

Can you spot Bailey he knows that's another new piece of furniture.

  6. I am now looking sideways at my pine table and chairs, I quite fancy a white table top with the frame and legs red and red and white chairs. Oh what about blue and yellow, pink and green, I better think about it. They will not be plain pine for too much longer.

    1. It's funny you said red Pam. As I was thinking of buying my new kitchen chairs in red but changed my mind at the last minute as I have all pastel colours. Blue and yellow is very french. There are so many nice colour combinations. Looking forward to seeing what you do.

  7. Beautifully done, I'm a big fan of upcycling. I don't blame you for doing it indoors, it's been so chilly lately. Have a good Easter Rosezeeta.

    1. Yes I was lucky this time Have already started painting it but it is very fiddly because of all the glass. This piece will take me longer.

  9. Chalk paint! I was just looking at that in the paint store the other day. I love the yellow and agree about painting the bottom. I love natural color wood too, but color can add such cheer and joy to a room.

    1. Hi Leigh. Loving the chalk paint not just the finish but that I do not have to sand each piece before, which was so time consuming. Finding lots of furniture I had forgotten about so have plenty to do. But nice and sunny in Cornwall at the moment., so can paint outside.
