NEW KNITTED DOGGIE COATS

Today I went with a friend to a Xmas craft fair and it was fab. Such talented people in Cornwall.
Spent too much money but got some lovely items. It was not a nice day so I left Archie
and Blossom at home in the warm....

As you know my two tiny Chihuahuas Archie and Blossom get really cold .
So I would buy them jumpers which cost £10 plus each.
So I soon taught myself how to knit my own. I have now worked out their
sizes and can knit a couple in an evening while watching t.v.
It is great because I can choose  the colour and design  them exactly how I like
so very creative as well.

This is a pile waiting to be sewn up.

A couple sewn up.

All sewn up. They now have quite a few to keep them nice and warm.

  1. Lovely and I know Archie and Blossom will appreciate them. You're a fast knitter to be able to make a couple of them in an evening!

  2. Oh how wonderful!
I love your little doggie sweaters!
The chihuahua I have now is a bigger boy - Mack - but the one I lost a couple of years ago - Jose'- was exactly 3 pounds.
So teeny tiny and always soooo cold!
I know Archie and Blossom love these cuddly knits :-)

    1. Hi Danette. You know exactly what I mean then. Archie is just under 3 lbs and is such a fussy eater so probably just like your Jose. Blossom is more solid and a lot heavier I think she may be already over 4 lbs.at 6 months.
Have not weighed her for a while. Archie is my first ever Chihuahua and he is so delicate and needs a lot of looking after but I am hooked now.
