AN OLD CAT NEEDS A GOOD HOME.

Not too far from me is Tavistock in Devon.
It is a beautiful place to visit with lots of independent shops.
I love to have a wonder around their indoor pannier market.
Which changes depending on the day of the week.

The day I went it was an antique, vintage market.

So I knew I would not come home empty handed.

And this is what came home with me.

                                        A very old  tatty cat.

I love his or her long limbs.

I do not buy many soft toys. But I think this one needed a good home.
If you are wondering about the cards in the picture. It was my birthday
last Nov.  Still catching up with posts..............

  1. We absolutely love Tavistock, just half an hours drive across the moors from my dad's in Okehampton. When we visit him we always visit Tavistock! Love Friday's Market the best.

  2. I am sending a big, but gentle, virtual hug to your new cat, she looks as though she needs a few.

  3. Oh! How forlorn a cat is that! You need Mick Inkpen s book, Nothing, about a toy cat who gets left behind. Good picture book. Your cat just looks like Nothing.

I like your tatty cat. Do you name your stuffed toys?

  5. Hi Rosezeeta,

So lovely to meet you! Happy belated birthday, and Happy New Year, too!

Your new kitty will do very well, I think, in its new home, for it will get a lot of TLC and instantly feel very cozy.

    Wishing you a wonderful Thursday!

  14. Kelly . It's not like me to buy something like this. Normally I am drawn to Vintage china. But he/she looked so sad. So I had to give them a home.
