You would know if you read my posts that I am trying to use what is in my
cupboards and trying not to spend too much.
But then I had a craving for Chocolate. All the sweets from Christmas were gone.
So there was nothing for it but to make a chocolate cake.
I made a all in one simple choclate cake mix but then added chocolate chips.
I used my new heart tin I got for Christmas.
I have a Aga so it is a bit hit and miss with cakes. As you can see it cooked more
on one side than the other.
When cooled I completely covered it with more chocolate
It only lasted two days.......
But the best bit. Is was made with everything I already had!
TWO Days, were you all ill! It looks scrummy.

Now if we have chocolate in the house it all gets eaten - we've still got plenty left from Christmas and our waistlines are expanding rapidly. No more cake making for a while at this house.

Simple living. Yes I always keep my bread cake cupboard stocked up. And before Christmas I added even more. So a few more cakes will have to be made.
